Situated within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the house extension was designed to link old and new parts of the farmhouse and bring natural light into the heart of the home. The design achieves a balance between contemporary and traditional and unites disparate parts of the building. Internally, walls were removed improve the flow of spaces through the house and maximise useable floor area.
