Project Cost: £200,000

The renovation of this one bedroom garden flat within the Conservation Area of Camden unlocked additional usable space within the limited floor area available.

Reversing the flat layout and placing the bedroom to the rear, provided a private garden aspect and omitted all unnecessary circulation spaces. This created a light and spacious feeling apartment within a floor area of only 55m2.

Bespoke joinery units, design to match the German engineered kitchen defined a dining space and provided hidden storage.

Original features such as the Victorian fireplace, tiles and stained glass were refurbished and retained.

Architectural services included contract management on site. The project was completed on time and within budget.
