Conversion of a Dutch 17th Century tea warehouse into two luxury apartments
Originally a tea wharehouse dating from the 17th Century, this property presented unique design challenges. The property is situated on the Prinsengracht, which is one of the prepier canal locations in Amsterdam.
Renovation and conversion of this five storey building into two separate duplex apartments required a design approach which respected the 'Rijksmonument' protected status and original features preserved over the building's long and varied history. The resulting apartments combine both a contemporary and historic style, in the Dutch tradition.
